What is a Bandboree?

Inspired by the local sports scrimmages, or “Jamborees” as they are sometimes called, we set out to host an event that would showcase our outstanding local marching bands in a fun, low-pressure setting while providing valuable feedback to band directors and students alike.

Why are some bands only playing a portion of their show today?
Most bands are still in the process of learning their shows. Some may be incomplete. Some may have limited flag work or visuals. And some may perform portions of their show standing still.  Remember, the goal today is to gain valuable experience.

Who won?
While there are clinicians here today, no band is being judged, rated, ranked, or placed.  Our adjudicators are here only to provide feedback to our students and staff.
No scores will be given to any band.

Cheer Them On!
Let’s show every student from every band how much we appreciate the effort they have put in this season by CHEERING LOUDLY FOR EVERY BAND TODAY.

If you aren’t sure when to clap, wait for a huge musical impact, a phenomenal flag toss, or anything else that sounds or looks awesome to you.
