2006 Marching Band

This year’s musical and visual production was entitled Red, and was written by Key Poulan. Reflecting on the rise and fall of the communist movement, Red has both dark and philosophical qualities. There are emotional and sinister harmonies that serve as bookends to a refreshing, yet contemporary tango in this three-movement work.

2005 Marching Band

Dreams is an original composition which takes the audience on a nighttime adventure that can accompany one in an imaginary yet realistic state of mind.

Movement One, "Dreamscape," sets the stage for the listener as one begins to fall into a mysterious dream world.

Movement Two, "Sweet Dreams," is a relaxing and gorgeous work that reflects the warm emotions one can experience when dreams are good.

Movement Three, "Nightmare/Full Circle," takes you on a wild and mysterious roller coaster of dark and evil emotion, and returns the listener to where the dream began.
